messy baby

 - by glenda

Just what you wanted to see!

I cannot believe this little one is feeding herself already!  She really likes feeding herself better than having me spoon feed her.  So far she has been very patient and has not gotten frustrated when she is not able to put the food in her mouth.

Eating grapes at lunch time

I wonder what she is thinking here

After breakfast yesterday I let her play with the leftover baby cereal, and she loved spreading it over the tray.

happy Easter!

 - by glenda

I hope you all had a nice Easter.  We had a beautiful service at Church today.  Many people of different ages got baptized, and  it was so touching to hear some of their testimonies.  I am so thankful for the sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross, and for his promise of eternal life for those who believe in him.  I am also thankful for my three happy and healthy kids who bring joy to my life every day.

Look at Norah standing! I wasn’t sure if she would stand long enough for pictures but she did great.

Excited about the goodies from mom & dad, and Grandma and Grandpa Brusco (Except Norah, who was more than ready for a nap).

fun times at Grandma and Grandpa Yoder’s

We had a little get together at Duane and Rachel’s this week to celebrate Easter.  The kids had fun playing together and hunting for eggs on Grandma and Grandpa’s yard.

Jasmine found an egg with money in it.  I love her excitement!

Miss Norah turned 7 months on Saturday, which means it’s a good reason to post new pictures on the blog :)

The weather was so beautiful on Sunday afternoon so we decided to take the kids to the park.  It was Norah’s first time swinging in the bucket swing, and she had a great time!   I really enjoyed seeing her squeal with delight as she went forward and back.

She likes to grab everything in sight.

She also likes to stick her tongue out when she smiles.

I don’t want to leave out the other two kiddos, so here is an Instagram photo of the two being silly monkeys.

I leave you with this funny one!  (Jillian has been working on teaching Evan to climb our front tree).

peek-a-boo!

Here’s a little video of Glenda, Jillian, and Evan playing peek-a-boo with Norah tonight.  You can see she’s starting to sit pretty well on her own now too!

norah @ six months

I just wanted to share some of Norah’s six month photos.  It seems like it’s all about Norah lately, but there really isn’t anything more exciting going on in our little world right now.

Does this humongous flower bring you flashbacks from the royal wedding? :)  She doesn’t wear bows this big to go out but I thought it might be fun for the pictures.

norah

I thought I’d post some recent pictures of Norah before she is due for her 6 month photos!

Norah is getting to be so much fun! She likes to “talk” a lot, blow raspberries, and she tries to grab everything that gets close to her little hands.  She is still not rolling, but she can scoot on her back using her head and feet.  She is also very close to being able to sit unassisted.  Jillian and Evan love to talk to her and bring her toys.  Jillian loves to carry her around now, which makes me a little nervous, but she is very proud that she can move her from one place to another.

She has found her feet, so she likes to grab them all the time!

She has lost pretty much all her baby hair, except on the top of her head.

I love her gummy smile!

Evan LOVES to take pictures of Norah with his leap pad!  He and Jillian get into fights because Evan wants to take pictures all the time and Jillian wants to hold her.

This time he got the leap pad a little too close, so Norah decided to get a taste of it!

Norah @ five months

 - by glenda

Yes, it is hard to believe that Norah is five months old already!  I feel like my baby is growing way too fast, but at the same time it is so fun to see her grow and learn new things.

Can you tell she really likes to suck her fingers?  She is sucking her fingers in just about every picture that I took.
